A total of 18,053 players put up the $565 buy-in to this year's Colossus at the World Series of Poker, down significantly from 2016's field of 21,613 and the record of 22,374 in 2015, the tournament's inaugural year.

Despite the disappointing turnout, the field was still large enough to easily surpass the $8 million guarantee with a prize pool of $9,026,500. A cool $1 million of that is already reserved for the eventual winner, who will be determined late Wednesday, June 7.

Just like 2016, there were six starting flights spread out over three days. Here is a breakdown of the field by flight.
